Terms of Service

Welcome to NovaOTT ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our IPTV subscription service at https://novaott.ca ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the Service.

1. Service description

NovaOTT provides a subscription-based IPTV streaming service delivering live television channels, video-on-demand content and electronic programme guide (EPG) data over the internet. Access is provided through the IBO Player application on a single authorised device per subscription.

2. Account registration

• You must provide accurate, complete and current information when ordering.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your province of Canada, to hold an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscription plans and payment

NovaOTT offers subscription terms of 1, 3, 6 and 12 months, plus a discounted introductory 1-month plan for new customers. Current prices for every plan are published on our pricing page and confirmed at checkout.

• All prices are quoted and charged in Canadian dollars.
• Subscriptions are activated once payment is confirmed.
• Payments are handled securely. NovaOTT does not store payment card details.
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew unless explicitly agreed at the time of purchase.

4. Refunds

All sales are final once an account has been activated. Because the Service is delivered digitally and immediately:

• No refunds are issued after account activation.
• Exceptions apply only to (a) a verified service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours, for which a pro-rata credit may be issued, or (b) a confirmed duplicate charge, which is refunded in full.
• Refund requests must reach [email protected] within 7 days of the qualifying event. Full detail is in our refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service solely for personal, non-commercial viewing. You must not:

• Share, resell, redistribute or sublicense your credentials to any third party.
• Broadcast, publicly display or re-stream any content received through the Service.
• Attempt to circumvent access controls, DRM protection or authentication systems.
• Use automated tools, bots or scrapers against the Service.
• Use the Service in any manner that breaches applicable law in Canada or elsewhere.
• Access content from a region where such access is prohibited.

Breach of this clause results in immediate termination without refund, and terminated accounts are not reinstated. If you wish to sell subscriptions lawfully, our reseller programme is the correct route.

6. Device limitation

Each subscription permits access on one (1) device at a time. Concurrent streaming on multiple devices is not permitted. The Service is compatible exclusively with the IBO Player application; NovaOTT does not provide support for third-party applications.

7. Service availability

NovaOTT targets 99.9% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable because of scheduled maintenance announced in advance where possible, unplanned technical issues, disruption at a third-party content provider, or force majeure events. NovaOTT is not liable for interruptions beyond our reasonable control, including filtering or throttling applied by your own internet service provider.

8. Intellectual property

All content delivered through the Service — live channels, video-on-demand titles, logos and EPG data — remains the property of its respective owners and licensors. NovaOTT claims no ownership of third-party content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content for personal use only.

The NovaOTT name, logo and website design are the property of NovaOTT Media and may not be used without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our privacy policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, without prior notice and without refund. You may cancel at any time by contacting [email protected]; access continues until the end of the paid period.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOVAOTT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the Province of Nova Scotia. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Canada.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes are published at https://novaott.ca/terms.html with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
